I had a lot of antique furniture and belongings that I needed to transport to my sister’s home in Coburg. My husband recently found a new job in Florida and we had to move from Toronto. We phoned and inquired about a few moving companies’ services and felt like Elite Moving provided the best price and transit times. They have a great reputation from what I read in the reviews page online. They did a fabulous job at moving and transporting our big furniture and belongings. Nothing was damaged by the time it all arrived down south. Elite is definitely worth the recommendation.
Great, secure packaging from Elite. They protect your belongings with Styrofoam and foam peanuts to help cushion the impact. They wrapped my boxes and electronics with padding. They also provide corrugated paper rolls for figurines and fragile items such as glass. Elite Moving provides you the materials that are very handy and not a lot of moving companies do that.
Our move from Mississauga to Pickering was very easy thanks to Elite Moving. We had a lot of furniture and equipment we couldn’t bring along with us to our new home so we placed them at their storage unit. We rented the 10x10, 100 sq.ft. and it was the perfect size to place our belongings. Their facilities are temperature-controlled and perfectly secured. They have security cameras in the storage facilities and they also have an insurance policy for stolen and damage goods.
Last minute, some friends dropped out on my move and I had to get a company fast. I booked a 20 foot truck for a 1 bedroom condo with Elite and they made all the arrangements right away. Everything came as a package including truck rental, labor and the packing supplies. They worked really fast and the move was done within the afternoon from North York to downtown.
I recently called Elite Moving to move my furniture from my old house to my new house within the GTA, from Brampton to Mississauga. The moving team was very professional and friendly, easy to work with and efficient with the entire moving process. I really loved how involved the workers were in taking extra precautions to safeguard my belongings. They wrapped items with a furniture wrap for safety, protecting my delicate items from getting damaged.
I recently opened up a new office in Vaughan and called Elite Moving to help me move in all my new furniture and other furnishings. I was sure that this would be a highly stressful experience, but the movers were excellent in making the entire process very smooth and not the least bit unnerving. Very professional company with great customer service. Every time I called I got to talk to the same person who knew my situation so I didn’t have to explain things over and over again as it happens with other movers. We moved from a 2 bedroom bungalow in Toronto to a 3 bedroom house in Richmond Hill and it cost us way less than I was expecting based on what other people I know paid.
These guys work fast! I used a different company a couple of years ago, so I can appreciate the difference – no smoking breaks, no idle walking around. They also seemed to have a special packing item for everything. I really liked the special boxes for the clothes – I have an embarrassingly large collection of dresses and was dreading having to steam iron them all again. But they all arrived in perfect condition without a single wrinkle! They also took great care with our china and antique doll collection.
My boyfriend and I decided to move in together since he had to relocate to Waterloo. We hired Elite to take both of our belongings. They worked on a tight schedule since they had to pick up things from two apartments at different ends of Toronto and then get out of the city before the rush hour traffic. They were amazing. They didn’t waste a minute were extremely professional. We gave them the key to Waterloo apartment and by the time we got there they were already half-way done through unloading. Kudos for really good job!
We had an absolutely uneventful move. The guys came, quickly packed everything up, took it to our new condo, put it in place, assembled furniture and then left. Nothing got dropped, lost or damaged. Noone complained about anything. No fee surprises. This is my definition of a perfect move.
You can’t go wrong with these guys. You know you won’t be ripped off and your stuff will make it safely to the new destination. They are very friendly and easy to deal with and easy to reach if you have to make any changes to arrangements. I suggest calling around other companies and then calling Elite Moving – you’ll be surprised how much easier they are to deal with and how competitive their prices are.
I had to move out of my apartment 3 days before I could move into the new condo and Elite guys really came through for me. On Friday they picked everything up and took it to storage and on Monday when I drove up to the condo in the morning the truck with all my things was already waiting there. And the price that I got on the whole arrangement was way lower than other companies told me.
These guys are very organized. They come on time, keep all the things that need to go together together, label things clearly and put everything in the right rooms. All the kitchen items in the kitchen, all the books in the library, etc… I didn’t have to go through the nuisance of looking for spoons all night (something I had to do with the previous moving company who put spoons in the same box as the living room magazines to save on boxes!) They also put together all the furniture that they had to take apart to fit our narrow staircase. They worked really hard but remained friendly and polite throughout. I am very pleased that we chose them.
