NIGHTMARE MOVERS. Items busted, missing and moulded. 2 weeks late. Nicole O'Halloran was the absolute worst person to deal with. Ignorant and rude as can be. Custom furniture busted my late grandfather made that was in perfect condition before they arrived and when I got the final bill the price increased by .15 per pound! Scale tickets even showed that it was 2 different vehicles that got weighed. Not one vehicle getting weighed twice to show your difference in weight. Paid for help to set up the furniture and that didn’t happen. Nothing was done properly. Didn’t even have my name on the invoice for me to pay by credit card but yet they had all my belongings. Demands to be paid e-transfer and it all goes to Nicole’s personal account. Find a different company cause these people are thieves. They even open boxes that are taped shut. If you want the absolute worst service, this is your spot! Not to mention Bill Harrington over at WLH Moving who set it all up was also quite the gem! Threatened to keep my belongings and even called saying if I got the police involved he would be sure that it would only go to small claims court! Paid a deposit of almost $500 that was supposed to be taken off my bill and that didn’t happen either. These two companies are both nothing but thieves! Between Collins and WLH Moving- neither of these places should be in business between the poor customer service and ignorant people at both companies. As soon as you pay OUT COMES THE IGNORANCE! I pray whoever reads this spreads the word because this was the absolute worst move of my life and I have moved a lot.

Lads were nice, but too much damage. My belongings were less than 7 months old. My mattress was ripped before it even left my room. 11 days later they arrive and even more things are damaged. I was blamed by the guy in the office. Oh hell no, I'll not take blame for their mistakes. Very unhappy about the service. Thank God I got insurance! Don't use them for a long distance move

Communication needs great improvement. Except to wait weeks to get your property. I highly suggest packing your own boxes and wrapping mattress and furniture yourself. May be cheaper but you also get what you pay for....

These people are crooks - the move was booked over the phone and email with a salesman BILL - he appeared legit and was relentless about getting the booking it was NEVER discussed about ant packing services or extra insurance needed. Payment was made by etransfer. Initial moving crew Showed up 2 days late in Ontario - 3/4 guys were high and the companies response was pot is legal - no one provided an invoice - or a contract After arriving in Edmonton we waited another 3 weeks for delivery. When our stuff finally arrived Over $17 k in damages and missing property - Joy ( Apprently the supervisor ) told me to fill out the claims forms which I did right away - i provided several videos of our damaged property - some of it was wet and muddy like it had been left outside - NO ONE contacted us again - after several attempts the delivery guy (( jeff he is the only one with integrity) offered me a settlement - they tried to settle with me for 1000 and a used TV (( not sure it is his responsibility ) Then suddenly another unprofessional woman named NICOLE sent me a document to sign Stateing that I would need to sign a non disclosure agreement not to post anything negative. When i refused I was told in a very rude and unprofessional email that file was closed and to never contact them again In short this company is a scam and a bunch of unethical people who turn the events to fit what they need.

We chose Good Ol Boys/Collins-Mehling (the sister company) moving company for our big move from Ontario to Alberta and could not have been happier with the service we received. Jesse was a down to earth person, I never felt pressured and he was open about costs. I had heard horror stories about spiralling costs and prepared myself for the worst. Jesse was communicative throughout, always answered my texts and was easy to deal with. On the other end we waited and received great news, the weigh-in was actually under the estimate and so the costs were going to be less than we had been quoted for. After an expensive move, this was welcome news! Joy from Collins-Mehling was a pleasure to deal with, she was responsive and flexible.The truck took 15 days to arrive, within our quoted time and the crew from their sister company Collins-Mehling handled the delivery. They delivered a day later than originally planned but they were communicative about this. Such a good group of guys and were professional, polite and fun. Jeff was great at explaining the connection between Good Ol Boys and Collins-Mehling. Our belongings arrived safely and there have been no casualties that we can see thus far!

This company was contracted to do our cross country move thru a moving contractor and we paid nearly $20,000 for the driver to show up a day late from his 4 day moving window. On the day he arrived he was 4hrs late from the time he promised us. I was told that I had to personally breakdown certain patio furniture and work tables or I'd have to leave them behind. On the the other end of the move there were a number of items damaged and missing. When we filed a claim the company stopped returning emails or phone calls and even when we informed the Moving Contractor who hired these guys they still only offers to pay roughly 10% of the claim value. I would definitely NOT recommend this company for any move, whether it be cross country or across the street. If I could I'd give them zero stars I would. At the end of it all we were only able to get back approximately 25% of the value of our insurance claim.
