I endorse Durham Multi Storage for its secure and reliable storage.
As an international student, the facilities impressed me - clean, accessible, and well-maintained. Checkout was seamless, and the deposit refund prompt.
I'd recommend Durham Multi Storage.
I unfortunately wasn’t able to use their units this year because they were all occupied. Probably because of their service/advice and pricing. No surprise. But I’m leaving a 5 star review because they have been in this business for years and they even told me what I could to get another unit at a competitor. They mentioned what to look out for and I eventually went to a competitor that they recommended who was 2nd best to them. Thank you Kim at from desk for the recommendation and look to come back and do business when you have availability.
Just a terrible business. Lockdown over holidays, no notice, no one can access their things. Poorly run business, avoid these storage units. Lady sits outside smoking drinking coffee refuses to help.
E-transfer or authorized payment never mentioned, when you are moving and a lot on your mind it’s easy to forget to pay on time. Paid a fee for that, you also pay for the remaining days of the month that are left before the 1st of the next month. Other places do not charge you for that. All to say the fees to rent might be lower than other places but they probably make their money in those little ways Try beech storage if your in the whitby area instead. Better ratings and 24 access with security. I was told here that they have thefts.
-very competitive pricing
We are repeat customers and have tented both short term and long term

I have all of my sons Christmas presents stored in my unit. I usually pick up on Christmas Eve to bring home. I’ve had the unit 7 years and do this every year. Checked your holiday hours and you’re closed !!!
How do I get all my sons presents out my unit tomorrow, Christmas Eve? Help!!!!!!!!
Rented an inside 10x10 storage unit (all that was available) for 3 months to store stuff from our house while selling and moving. There is no security gate during business hours, anyone can enter the property and the doors to the buildings where the interior units are housed are not locked. During 3 occasions when we were trying to load stuff into the unit, the light was non-functional making it impossible to put items in the unit. The response from the main desk when the issue was brought up was "sorry". They did not have portable lighting available to address the issue nor did they provide any compensation for the fact that the unit was unusable during that period. A week before vacating, our unit was broken into. The response from the company was an apology and an offer of $5 off the purchase of a new lock from them. Would never use this place again.
