We hired El Cheapo primarily because of the 1hr minimum, compared to 2-4 hr minimums elsewhere. We were moving from Toronto to Windsor and needed to be out ASAP and wanted to hire an extra mover to get the job done more quickly. We hired them for load-only help in Toronto as we were driving our own u-haul. Dmitry, Dmitry and another kind gentleman I didn’t get the name of were there early and prepared. They moved quickly, efficiently and did a great job packing the truck. The team in Windsor actually said how impressed they were with how well everything was packed. We rented a 26’ truck but could have gotten away with a 20’ truck based on how well they packed it. They did a great job, but they also were all lovely people. I’d hire El Cheapo again just because of that.

Just finished our moving day with El Cheapo and cannot be more pleased with our experience!! Gary and Jonathan were our movers and from the moment they were 15 minutes away to when they arrived, they were professional, organized, and efficient. They definitely knew what they were doing and were so quick and decisive with their every move. Not to mention that they were friendly and respectful. Our move exceeded our estimated time at booking, but they still hustled. Can’t thank them enough for their work today and would definitely hire them again!! Thank you!

I have used El Cheapo twice in the past 5 years. They are inexpensive (as the name suggests) but they do not sacrifice on quality, safety, or speed. AMAZING TEAM ! This was my second time moving with El Cheapo Movers. I was lucky enough to get Alex & Dmytro this time. I picked the 9-12 time slot. They called at 8:30am to say they were enroute. showed up at 8:45. They wrapped up all my belongings (studio apt) within 20 minutes. and moved everything without a hitch into my new place within 2 hours. They were incredible, so fast, so professional ! I would recommend El Cheapo 1000 times over ! Special thanks to Alex and Dymytro, appreciate the care and work you put into this very stressful move !

I've used El Cheapo for 2 moves now and they've been excellent both times. For my recent move, a team of 3 helped us move out of a narrow house into a condo building. There were some tricky parts to the move, including getting a large, heavy dresser down two VERY narrow staircases, and they did a wonderful job. Tristan, Aziz, and Ben worked quickly and were so kind throughout the entire process. I have no idea how we could have moved without them!

The movers and customer service agents are so nice! I moved with them twice, and they were careful and really helpful. In the future, I will move with them again. Price is also pretty fair I find. There is student discount and cash discount.

We used El Cheapo movers for our condo move and they were excellent! Gary and John were such nice guys. So pleasant to work with. They were so careful with our things and so efficient with their move. They communicated well and were on time. Super professional pros! They were so friendly too. We loved chatting with John about travel and sports as they worked. They finished everything in 2 hours! Great guys! Narjes who coordinated our move over the phone is so kind too. I would use El Cheapo movers again for sure!

These guys helped me move during the craziest snowstorm Toronto had seen in 10 years. They were extremely helpful, fast and kind (let's be honest- moving is stressful). They wrapped up the furniture and were gentle with my things. John was a delight and great at keeping everything organized and on track. Would 10/10 use them again.

A family member recommended this company and told me they were one of the best moving companies in the GTA. After my move today, I'd have to agree! The truck arrived on time, and the movers Wayne and Aziz were incredible. Worked super efficiently and were vital to the success of my move across the city. They even helped re-assemble furniture when everything had been moved into the new location, which saved me a lot of hassle. I'll definitely be calling these guys again if I'm looking to move in the future :)

This company was professional from start to finish. The 3 men were polite and extremely good. They had to climb to my 3rd floor walk up (35 stairs) and then load dollies at my new address,though it had an elevator but a long hallway. I would recommend them always. I had a wonderful experience with them. Thank you.

To all my TTC coworkers. Yesterday I got El Cheapo Movers to move our condo. They wrapped everything up and they were very careful with all our furniture. Ask for the two Ukrainian Brothers they're gentlemen they did exactly whatever I said during the course of the move. Which made me feel great.

I had a fantastic experience with El Cheapo movers on July 21, 2024. My movers were Alex and Azeez and I cannot recommend them enough. They arrived early, wrapped all my furniture to protect it and were incredibly fast. I was moved out of my old place and into my new one in 3 hours. I had a wonderful experience using El Cheapo. The movers were courteous, careful with my belongings and worked as fast as they could clearly wanting to complete the move in good time given that I was paying by the hour. They communicated with me as needed and made every effort to do a good job. I am 72 and a recent heart surgery patient with no-one to assist me so it was critical that the move was stress free. It was and I definitely recommend El Cheapo moving service.
