Very disappointing experience. I was initially told the truck rental would cost around $20, but I ended up being charged much more than expected, with the final bill reaching $122.55. The additional charges were not clearly explained to me beforehand.
The truck was also dirty inside and did not appear to be properly cleaned. On top of that, the fuel level was much lower than I expected when I picked up the vehicle, and I had to stop for gas shortly after leaving.
My advice to future customers is to carefully check the fuel level, take photos of the truck and dashboard before driving away, and make sure you fully understand all fees and mileage charges. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience for me.
Great experience renting a trailer from U-Haul Ajax. Everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off, and the customer service from Kim was especially great. Super helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely rent from here again!
Rented a 15-foot truck and had a mixed experience. First, a huge shoutout to the lady under the tent handling drop-offs—she was amazing, friendly, and incredibly helpful! However, service elsewhere needs improvement. The man I spoke to first was quite rude and lacked basic courtesy. Inside at the counter, during pickup, the representative rushed through the rental policies so fast I had to keep repeating questions just to understand the terms.
As for the equipment, the truck was clean and ran well, but for a 15-foot vehicle, having a backup camera would be a major help for safety. Great drop-off experience, but the front-end staff could definitely slow down and be more patient with customers.
No problems at all. I went this weekend to pickup the truck, it's in 8 AM. I used the mobile app checkin. I had a hard time working on the truck because I read the instruction too fast and disregarding important instructions. It's my fault, it's cold in the morning. But truck is fine, whole process is fine, returning is easy-peasy. I would consider going to this location if the one near me doesn't have available truck.
