Although it is on the pricier side of storage units, I enjoyed the fact that all the units were climate controlled. Especially with our harsh winters. I also noticed mouse traps around the facility for extra protection. My favourite thing about the facility though and the reason I would recommend them is that every morning they do a "walk around" to make sure all the units that were accessed the previous day are firmly secured and I know this for a fact because I have received a phone call telling me that my unit was not.

I stored my things after selling the house and after checking several storage locations, this one seemed the cleanest and organized place. Bab and David explained the process because I never rented storage before. Prices were on the same level with others but the place seemed very good. We got a tour of the place during our first visit and given the chance to choose between two units. There was never any problem when we stopped by to pick up something, once you get the code you are free to come and go. Place is really clean and washrooms are clean too. Very happy with my experience.

I originally rented from this location because it had the best rates and was the closest to me. On my move in day, the owner, Bab, was super friendly and greeted me by name. He continued to go above and beyond, consistently providing exceptional customer service throughout my almost year of renting there. I was most impressed that he always knew my name and was always in a great mood. Not only do they have the best rates in town, but also the best customer service! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a storage solution.

I had 2 units a 10x10 and a10x20, struggling every month to pay always late enough to have late fees added…brother in law needs some room for his stuff-long story but he’s moving, has terminal cancer. I went into the office and asked…begged, is there someway of having my cake and eat it too? lol I have to say, the staff bent over backwards checking every which way they could to save us some money and make things work to OUR favour which NEVER happens anymore in this world. I have shed tears about how they worked with me and understood my plight and current family situation and the major changes happening with a need for more space etc. They truly bent over backwards and I seldom complain when things don’t go well but I try to always make sure when supers customer service is given (which I say again NEVER happens these days) I will ALWAYS give credit where credit is due!! Absolutely amazing customer service, they listened, they were attentive and compassionate, they even checked on me while I was moving units by myself since Thursday morning. I truly couldn’t ask for a better experience with Access Storage on Overland Drive in Kitchener! We have been with Access for more than 12 years in various locations and this one takes the cake in all the best ways! THANKYOU!!!!

Absolutely stunning customer service and location. Quinlan showed us around and had answers for everything we asked, and was super personable and conscientious. Everything was clean and consistant, and you can tell the climate control was working.

I went into the store looking for storage and the staff were very accommodating. I dealt with Kim who went through everything I needed and took me on a tour of the facility showing entrance exits loading and unloading areas, as well as my unit. Overall a very pleasant experience. Now that i am moving i really appreciated the enclosed area for loading and unloading especially with the weather we have had. Always clean and accommodating staff.

The posted hours indicate that the storage facility closes at 11 PM. However, when we arrived at 10:20 PM with a rented U-Haul, we found ourselves unable to access the facility. Despite reaching out to the emergency contact number provided, we were informed that no immediate solution was available. As a result, I now face an additional $100 charge to extend my U-Haul rental and the inconvenience of arranging overnight parking. I am extemely disappointed with the company's handling of this situation.

This storage unit complex is very well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they had was a little larger cart that would handle larger furniture.

Guy at the front desk is super friendly and helpful, even when working by himself on a busy Saturday. You get the first 4 weeks free, but you need to buy a lock for $20 and pay an admin fee of $28. So the 4 weeks is actually $50.84. Billed every 4 weeks and not by the month. $19.99 for $5,000 insurance included for free in the first 4 week cycle. The covered loading area is great for bad weather days, except no one ever closes the secure access overhead door. They need more flat carts for moving your stuff. I think they have 4, and some people had to wait when it was busy.

Super helpful staff. Very friendly and professional. Check in was well explained and we even got a tour so we'd know where things were and what to do. The facility is super clean.
