I didn't like the fact that had find my assigned truck. The hand written truck number was a bit hard to decifer. Please use printer tags. To be more clear of the truck number.

Would not recommend this place or u-haul in general. 3 months before my move i reserved a 20 foot truck and auto transport trailer to be picked up from this location. Less than 24 hours before my move i was contacted on told that I had to pick up my trailer in Mount forest. Witch is about 100km away. I was not offered any money for the extra gas to drive all that way. Also I had to pay more for my truck and trailer combo because since I was picking up at 2 locations they coukd not bundle the truck and trailer together to save me money. The real kicker is that the facility had an empty auto transport trailer sitting in their lot but refused to rent it to me. Also when I picked up the truck I was not told I would get a text with a link to report damage and send pics. I was handed to keys and told to have a safe drive. I did not receive the text until 2 hours after I had the truck at witch point it is too late.

I was supposed to move and the movers cancelled last minute — I had to call uhaul as last option and I got a truck in less than 2 hours, return the truck 4 hours later and got charged only the few miles I used on it. Best service for my first time renting a vehicle

Everyone at the Fairway Road location was incredible from the very start. Karen helped me book the right locker for my needs, and got me set up for check-in. Brandee and Jason directed me through the check-in process so I could take advantage of a special (& awesome!) new promotion; and Milly helped me with several questions I had when I actually first moved in. The security on site is excellent - cameras everywhere, and the gate requires sign-in AND sign-out, which is great. Access hours are super flexible, as are office hours. The facilities, grounds, office, and units are all immaculate. This will continue to be my first choice for storage & vehicle rentals; not only due to a previous negative experience elsewhere, but becuase of the continued excellence from each employee at the Fairway Road U-Haul.

Pick-up staff were great – super helpful and friendly. Clean store with lots of rental options. TEN STARS FOR Staff and store options. RETURN EXPERIENCE: 0 STARS. WARNING DO NOT USE THE AFTER HOURS DROP OFF - The location is not safe nor secure. After pick up I saw that there were 2 claim stickers (previous damage that they were aware of) on 2 of the rear fenders. They had damage on them but were drivable. This should have been repaired prior to giving me the vehicle. I returned the trailer at 830pm in the after-hours area for drop off and registered it in the APP with photos. The trailer was in perfect condition with photos to evidence that. The next day I was charge a $120 fee for flat tire/tire slashed. I spoke with the location and sent over more photos showing that when I returned the trailer the tires where in perfect condition. Any damage to the trailer after my check out of the trailer should not be my responsibility and/or charge to me. I have several businesses and use rentals often – moving forward I will not be using this location due to this experience.
