When I started the vehicle it showed a tire pressure sensor error. I called the uhaul customer service line and was told to drive the truck anyway and that they would look into it after I returned it. The vehicle had manual crank windows and each of the doors (driver and passenger) had to be locked and unlocked using a key on each side. It was rented to me at a quarter tank of gas. The movers in Windsor loaded up the truck and I headed up north. When I attempted to fill it up at Costco and various stations up the 401, the nozzle would click after a dollar and a few cents of fuel. If I continued filling it up it would spew out gasoline on my clothes so I had no choice but to fill it up anyway to get to my destination to meet the movers for my scheduled time. I was put on hold for an unacceptable amount of time with no solution that would actually be feasible. When someone did get back to me he told me to wait by the side of the one lane highway under construction in the middle of a storm for roadside assistance. I tried explaining I could not do that safely and he bounced the call to another extension. The only two people who actually listened to my concerns about this being a dangerous truck that should never have been rented were Emma and Megan. This would not have ever been the experience if a male had rented with uhaul. The best part - I was charged full price for returning the truck with an empty tank, even after explaining the situation multiple times via the customer service line and directly with the Dougall location. Yep. I'm okay never to do business with uhaul and spend a little more with another company. Thanks, but no thanks. Uhaul is not female-friendly at all. 0/10.
Great customer service, friendly and fast. Rented a large utility trailer was very affordable and easy to use. Was able to drop it off after hours with no problems. Definitely recommend !
Staff member Hader was very kind and helpful when I came to U Haul for a hitch assembly to be assembled. Being in a pinch and out of town we were grateful for this service. Having purchased components at the west Windsor Canadian Tire and being turned away when asking for assistance we were at a loss. The Canadian Tire staff chose not to be helpful to customers in need. UHaul gave great service and a friendly helpful attitude. Much appreciated!
I arrived at the U-Haul location toward the end of the day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They set me up with a slightly older truck that was spotlessly clean, smelled fresh, and ran very well.
During my rental, something came up on my end. The manager made sure I was taken care of and handled everything professionally.
At drop-off, the entire staff was just as pleasant and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Big thanks to Hazeem for the excellent service both at pickup and drop-off — he was professional, courteous, and made the process smooth and stress-free. The location has an on-site office, which is super convenient, but I recommend giving yourself a little extra time to check in, as I had about a 15-minute wait in line. Everything was organized, the equipment was in great condition, and the process was easy and efficient. They had everything I needed for a successful move. I’ll definitely be using them again!
