I have tried to get a hitch installed at this location for almost a month. I picked a date online, showed up, and the people inside told me it was a “arbitrary date” The parts for my installation are not in. I had to go home with no hitch installed. My first impression of this location, when I walked inside, was hearing an employee say “screw U-Haul” This has been such a screw around. I’m not sure if picking an installation date is this locations issue, or a U-Haul issue, but my service from them has been awful. Steer clear. Get your work done somewhere else.

It was an excellent inpression while picking up the 15" box truck. Next day while returning it was a bad experience. So far all UHauls left a good impression however this time it wasnt. I was surprised why this location had bad review rating however no wondet that the way the staff speaks to their customers while the vehicle is being returned is the key to leave a good impression Returned within 24 hours Filled the Gas Even called them before filling from gas station to cross check which fuel it takes Returned with the same amout of fuel which was given to me According to the guage it showed exact 147 kms Charlottetown to Summerside and back A quick drive with mattress and few suitcases. The truck however should go atleast 5 kms per liter Even though i showed a receipt of approx 81 dollars for 44 liters of gas, and returned with the guage at the same level however the collecting agent told me i didnt fill the gas and to my surprise how much more a person should fill for 147 kms in total ? (Already filled 81 dollars (1.85 per liter)). If the truck cant even pull 5 kms with judt a mattress and couple of suitcases then it's got an issue. This location not serving their customers to their best. Good is expected both times at the yime of pick up and also return, not just one time. Thank you

I needed a small trailer to haul my snowblower and they provided exactly what I needed for 14.99$ plus tax. The lady who helped me was courteous and provided all the necessary information. Another staff member even helped me hook it and unhook it from my vehicle. I highly recommend this uhaul store.

Honestly use them at your own risk. We booked a 10ft truck with them over 2 months ago as we were moving houses in another province and we could drop the truck back at a local store. Called 2 days before to confirm all was still ok and told it was and we would be called the next day with an allocated truck. When they called the next day we were told there were no 10ft available and only a 26ft which was completely unacceptable. When we refused they said we could have 10ft if we collected it from Nova Scotia 4 hours away!! What’s the point of being able to book a truck you can’t guarantee you will get. We did everything to try and avoid this situation and U-Haul have done nothing to help. Will never use this lot again. A completely unacceptable service. Luckily Home Depot were very helpful and have rescued us.

it was a heavy snowy day and the van which was provided had just all-season tires. On the very day i was stuck in the snow, While i called Uhaul regarding this the lady who picked the phone up was laughing at my situation and said Uhaul couldn't help me because I didn't select a safe trip option (which wasn't provided) Later then I had to call my friend who had a truck and give him some cash for his trouble. This is the first time and I am very disappointed in future I will never get uhaul services.
