One of the best customer service experiences I've had. Kevin was thorough, helpful and kind. He even came out to meet us in the rain so he could make sure we arrived to the right place! Affordable storage with more than fair terms and a lovely staff. Very straightforward and transparent explanation of facilities and use.
Have had the most excellent experience with this mini-storage facility. The staff is personable and helpful to a “t.” This especially applies to operations manager Kevin who has “saved” me on a couple of occasions. The first was when leaving on Christmas Day for an extended trip overseas and remembered on Christmas Eve that I needed a couple of important items from storage right before they were getting ready to close. Called over in a panic and Kevin agreed to hang around for a bit after their slated closing time so that I could access the locker. More recently went over to take our bike out of storage after returning from an extended absence, only to find that tires were predictably empty and that my pump was inoperable. Again, Kevin saved the by offering their on-site compressor and even dropping what he was doing and helping to fill the tires. This sort of service and caring is hard to come by these days and typifies Kitsilano Mini-Storage. All I can say is thank you!
Woman who works there, horrible. She always was yelling at me, swearing, using the F word. I never gave her reason to be abuse to me. I tried being nice to her, polite and courteous. I couldn't take the ongoing nasty abuse from her. I moved out . Don't know why she's there. She's miserable and shouldn't be bring problem to work and taking it out on customers. They need to replace her. Also I'm a disabled senior and they never would let me use bthrm. I was lied to about this. Had my unit broken in by homeless people there. The staff also would never leave me alone. I was always monitored and NEVER left alone. It was creepy and inappropriate. I was soooo uncomfortable with this having people coming and always seeing what I was doing within minutes of me arriving.
We have been their customer more than 10 years. Very nice people, straight forward and helpful. It is an old style facility with many size options and prices.
I've met people who have stored their 'stuff' here for 20 years! A reliable service and great staff! Has anyone watched George Carlin skit about 'Stuff'?
I've been storing items there for over 5yrs and have never had any experience less than fantastic. Rose is often the one there when I go in and she's always pleasant and helpful.
Extremely helpful and dedicated staff. Short distance from UBC. We were helped by Kevin who assisted with shipping bicycle we had in storage there by air to Ottawa. Went way beyond usual services (including finding box and packing bike) and everything arrived in pristine condition. These folks clearly take pride in their work and really went the extra mile for us. We had nobody else in Vancouver to help us out. Extremely grateful and highly recommend their services. We would definitely use them again.
I have had the most amazing experience renting storage space here. They have a wide range of prices and affordability with discounted upper unit rentals. I have been renting with them for a year now and the staff have been above and beyond helpful and caring. They have made my storage life so easy. I have stored with other companies and would rate them first choice. The units are clean and dry and I always felt my precious belongings were safe in their units ♡
The kindest staff and great prices. I left my belongings in their unit for 3 months and it was all untouched when I came back. The dog makes the place that much better. They offer refunds for if you empty your locker before the end of your booking time which is great!
